Request Numbers
Infobip offers numbers in a wide range of countries and keeps an extensive inventory of ready-to-buy numbers. However, if there are no numbers available for purchase in stock, you can request a number.
When you are searching for a number, select the country where you want to buy a number. If there are numbers available, they are listed in the grid for you to select. If there are no numbers available at the moment, you can request a number to order.
To order a number, go to Channels and Numbers > Numbers > Buy Number > REQUEST NUMBER.
Fill out and submit the Request a Number form.
AVAILABLE NUMBERS
Not all types of numbers and number capabilities are available in all countries. Number availability depends on the local regulation and network operators. However, Infobip aims to acquire numbers for you, where possible.
To complete the number ordering process, you must confirm the conditions that are linked to the estimated time needed to acquire a number and the price you’ll pay once Infobip acquires the number and assigns it to your account.
ETA is the time needed to acquire and prepare the number for your use. This time can vary and depends on several factors like country-specific regulations, mobile network operator policies and schedules, testing the number functionality, and traffic. The information given in ETA is based on an average time needed for number setup and is regularly updated.
Prices are based on the data already available on the numbers in a specific country and display “up-to" values based on recent historical data. There are countries where the price is not listed because the data is outdated. The price is available only after the acquiring process starts.
ETA and price are estimations as the terms can’t be guaranteed but Infobip constantly monitors both parameters to give you the best information possible.
Any fees for setting up the number are charged only after Infobip acquires the number and assignes it to your account.
When there are not enough credits in your account, the number is placed in the inventory, and it becomes available for other clients to buy.
Remove Numbers
When you no longer need a number and you want to stop receiving inbound traffic, you can remove it from your account.
When a number has been removed, you can no longer use it in communications, all future messages are not associated with your account, and future fees for that number in your account are discontinued.
To remove a number, go to Channels and Numbers > Numbers and find the number you want to remove. Move the pointer over the number, and you see an x symbol on the right side.
Click the x symbol and then click CONFIRM.
Billing
There are two expenses you can expect when buying a number—set-up fee and monthly fee. In some cases, for example in the US, there could also be regulatory fees.
- The set-up fee is a one-time fee billed when you buy a number
- The monthly fee is a recurring fee, charged every 10th day of the month, for that particular month starting from 1st in the month
